ELECTRICAL AND SAFETY CERTIFICATION

Safety regulations in North America require mandatory inspection and approval of electrical and electronic products by a nationally accredited Certification Body (CB) in Canada and a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) in the United States. All Urban products are inspected, certified and labeled in our factory by an internationally accredited IECEE third party testing laboratory to comply with all relevant safety and electrical regulations. This includes testing to CEC and CSA safety standards in Canada and NEC and UL safety standards in the United States.
